Why Pastors Support MFI

In May of 2020, MFI was able to effectively bring together almost 400 pastors from all across Massachusetts to sign a Letter to the Governor, establishing the essential mission of the local church and pushing for reopening in Phase 1.  This effort was critical to the success witnessed on May 18th when Governor Baker stated churches would reopen in Phase 1.  MFI was not done.  Church leaders needed counsel on how to interpret the COVID guidelines, which tended to be confusing and ambiguous.  MFI hosted a very helpful webinar, bringing together its network of church, legal, and insurance leaders to help pastors understand how to navigate the uncharted waters of COVID guidelines.

Since then, many pastors have reached out to MFI with individual questions and have greatly valued our counsel.  Listen to the following pastors as they describe how valuable MFI has been to their local church’s mission and join them in supporting MFI. Your gift or pledge today helps us continue to support pastors and churches in MA who often don’t know where else to turn.  Finally, please register to attend our October 16th annual fundraiser, where we will celebrate all the work of MFI this year and mark the 400th anniversary of the pilgrims’ arrival in our Commonwealth.
