“Transgender” activist appointed to bank board

According to the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition, the lead advocate for the “Bathroom Bill,” their executive director, Gunner Scott, has been elected to Eastern Bank’s Board of Corporators. His term lasts for 10 years. Gunner Scott has been the director of MTPC since 2008. “He” was born a woman, but has since “transitioned” to a man. Eastern Bank was founded in 1918 and is the largest independent and mutually owned bank in New England.
As we have mentioned before, the group “Lawyers for Transgender Rights” is hosting a fundraiser in Boston to benefit the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition. This event is being headlined by House Speaker Robert DeLeo, who is also receiving the “2012 Transgender Ally Award” for his help in passing the so-called “Transgender Rights” bill that was approved by the Legislature last November.
