MFI’s Annual Fundraising Celebration

Over the past month, I’ve had the opportunity to visit several different churches on Sunday mornings, from a nondenominational Evangelical church to a Russian Orthodox congregation. I was even blessed to preach at a Ugandan Pentecostal church. The fact that we are able to worship in Massachusetts, largely free from governmental interference, is something we probably all used to take for granted. Sadly, we no longer have that luxury. In California, for example, churches are still battling with local officials over whether they can hold indoor services

Fortunately, in the Commonwealth, our churches were part of the Phase I reopening back on May 18th.  As I worshipped in some of those churches this summer, I reflected on the work that MFI has done to help make that possible. Please take a minute to watch Boston Pastor Roberto Miranda tell an important part of the story of reopening the churches in Massachusetts:

Please consider joining us (online or in-person) for our annual fundraising celebration on October 16th, where we will share more of this story and the other successes MFI has been a part of this year. You can register here

This year’s theme is “400 Years of Faith, Family and Freedom,” in recognition of the Pilgrims arriving at Plymouth in 1620. They were seeking religious freedom as well and made incredible sacrifices for it. This precious history is more important than ever, and I’m excited to have pastor, author and historian Paul Jehle speaking to us at our event. Given the twisting of history in the news and many of our schools, this is a fantastic opportunity for all of us, including our children, to hear the true story of our Commonwealth’s beginnings. Please register your whole family to participate today and consider making a tax deductible gift or pledge to help us continue our work in the year ahead.
