Dr. Bill Bennett’s “Book of Virtues”

Well-known author and political theorist Dr. William Bennett will be the keynote speaker at the 21st Annual MFI Fundraising Banquet on Friday, October 12th. Perhaps his best-known book, among the more than twenty that he has written or edited, is The Book of Virtues: A Treasury of Great Moral Stories. Planting good traits through stories, it is an encouraging book that helps families (re)discover some moral landmarks.  The contents cover such virtues as self-discipline, friendship, work and loyalty among others.  The book is a wonderful reference as well as a great family storybook.
Tickets for the banquet will be available soon. Please save-the-date of October 12, and watch upcoming editions of the Commonwealth Update for details on early bird ticket pricing.
