Help Needed: Choose Life license plates must meet deadline

You have probably seen them on cars around the state, and you may even have one on your car, and that is the “Choose Life” license plate that helps get critical funds to pregnancy resource centers while also promoting the pro-life cause simply by appearing on cars.
On July 1, the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) will assess the Choose Life License Plate to determine if the requirement of 3,000 active plates on the road in Massachusetts has been reached. If this effort falls short, the RMV will subtract the cost from the bond money that donors provided to make this possible. As of right now, there are more than 2,400 “active” plates on the road; however there are approximately 600 people who pre-paid for the plate but never picked it up! The RMV will not count these plates until they are picked up and put onto cars.
Here are the actions steps:

  1. Get at least one or two friends to sign up and get a Choose Life plate today.
  2. Remind any friends who have already pre-paid for their plate but have yet to pick it up that the time to do it is now!

Visit www.machoose-life.org for more information on the campaign, ordering your plate or picking up one that you already reserved. We have made great strides on this effort, let’s work together to do the job and reach the 3,000 plate goal by July 1st.
