MFI on Fox25 Boston

Dear Friend of the Family,

At 3:30 Friday afternoon I received a call from a Fox25 reporter asking if she could come by and interview me about the Counseling Ban legislation within the next hour.  I was grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness on this critical issue, and I think the news segment came out really well.  You can watch it below:

Many thanks to all of you whose support allows MFI to have the office space, staff and resources to answer rapid-response media inquiries on these important family values issues!

A friend in Iowa called to tell me he was surprised to hear my voice on the radio while driving Saturday afternoon.  Apparently, a portion of the Boston25 Counseling Ban segment was picked up by Fox News National Radio. Look for an article in the New Boston Post on this topic later tonight as well.

MFI will be at the legislative hearing tomorrow with a strong group of witnesses who are prepared to testify in defense of parental rights and free speech.  Remember, if this bill passes, it will label a Christian approach to questions of sexual orientation and gender identity as “child abuse” under the segment of MA law that allows DCF to remove children from the home. (Just like the infamous case of Justina Pelletier.)  Please be praying that the legislature hears that there are two sides to this issue and that they must respect the freedom of parents and children to pursue the therapy options of their choice.

For our families,
