Effort to restore marriage fails in NH

According to the Union Leader, after two hours of debate and ten votes, the New Hampshire House voted on Wednesday to not restore marriage leaving the Granite State’s same-sex “marriage” law on the books. After voting down several amendments and a motion to table the bill, the House voted 211-116 vote to kill House Bill 437. “We are indeed on a slippery slope and we are indeed at the edge of the cliff,” said Rep. Warren Groen, warning that leaving the law on the books will eventually lead to further redefinition.
